Bear Creek (Satellite Images, Downstream from Molalla STP)

When the Molalla STP opened in 1980, it was designed to discharge directly into Bear Creek. Thus, all overflows and all failures to fully clean the wastewater put those downstream at risk of exposure to bacteria, heavy metals, pharmaceuticals, and other hazards.
